New finance match-making company launches

Finance specialist Anita Tweats has launched a brand new business offering finance experts that organisations in the UK can count on.

The Finance People has been developed to bring together finance specialists with businesses needing finance expertise to both support and to help drive the growth of their business forward.

With almost 20 years’ experience in the industry, Anita who boasts a CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification and a MBA (Masters of Business Administrations) is already working towards pairing interim and permanent Financial Controllers and Finance Directors with companies in the region.

Operating a stringent process, Anita’s team are all finance qualified professionals enabling them to thoroughly understand the needs of a business resulting in the perfect pairing of finance staff with the company.

Anita commented: “At The Finance People we all have a financial background so we really understand the role requirements and the skill sets needed, we are consultative rather than transactional which is traditionally how most recruiters operate.

“Our aim is to partner with companies to find them the right person. By getting to know the organisation, which sometimes means having meetings that last two hours, we are able to understand their business plans and objectives, assist with succession planning and identify the operations and strategic gaps in their resources. We can then match their needs to the financial expert with the relevant skills.”

Although The Finance People is in its infancy it’s already seeing great success having worked with over 30 clients in the last six months alone.

Finance Director Paul Watson has already been successfully matched with Birmingham charity Active Wellbeing Society in an interim role.
