When working with a part-time finance professional from The Finance People, you won’t be officially employing, as the finance professional is employed by us. Think of us more like a professional services company rather than a recruitment agency - you’ll be hiring our finance services, rather than onboarding a new member. Your dedicated professional will integrate seamlessly into your team with no onboarding process, no training requirements, no holiday pay, no sick pay, no maternity pay, and many other benefits.

How we’re different from other companies
There are a small number of UK companies offering you the ability to hire a flexible finance director for your SME. At The Finance People, we take pride in being able to partner you with a finance expert at any level, based on an in-depth audit of your business and requirements.
Rather than partnering you with a part-time FD even when you don’t need one, we aim to match you up with the right individual for your business. For some businesses, that means you’ll work with an FD on a project basis, before continuing with an FC on a rolling basis. For others, it might mean you’ll work with an FD ongoing, or potentially you can get by with an FC instead and save some budget. We’ll find the right professional fit for you.
